X Class 1023 "Kariera", Down "Australind" service, between Mundjong Junction and Mundijong, approaching Kiernan Street level crossing, note the dual gauge concrete sleepers, due to the heaviest tonneages carried on this stretch of line on the WAGR narrow gauge network the location was chosen to trial the sleepers before re-sleepering of the Avon Valley Line with concrete sleepers, SWR line
